Bracken-induced increase in soil P availability, along with its high P acquisition efficiency, enables it to invade P-deficient meadows

چکیده
Abstract Changes in soil chemistry after invasion by bracken (Pteridium aquilinum) have been studied heathlands, but comparable studies meadows are lacking. We investigated if into P-deficient alters the nutrient-resource pool, as well mechanisms behind it linked to processes and nutrition. Furthermore, we how community composition responds differences before invasion. Soil plant material sampling, along with vegetation survey, were performed during peak biomass. Data analyses included analysis of variance canonical correspondence (CCA). Bracken increased P availability, organic C concentration, C:N, C:S N:S ratios, while decreasing Fe Co concentrations. pinnae rich P, its rhizomes K, whereas N:P was low. CCA showed contrasting abundance patterns frequent meadow species related K availability. Holcus lanatus exhibited competitive advantage under extremely low Increase availability may occurred through promoting leaching Al. By increasing for growth N limitation other species, can gain a from resource-niche perspective. Its ability increase physiological high acquisition efficiency, seem differentiate ecological strategy, which mainly confined nutrient-rich environments. This enabled invade meadows.

Behavior - aware P 2 P Protocol for High Data Availability
A lot of research papers discussed the Distributed Hash Table (DHT) based p2p systems to promise that idle resources may be efficiently harvested. However, p2p systems are composed of components with extremely heterogeneous availabilities and to handle churn, the system will generate the heavy information maintenance traffic to keep the efficiency of the DHT. Moreover, the previous researches c...

The Interaction between P Fertilizer and Vermicompost on the Availability, Fractions of P and (Zea Mays L.) Growth Indices in a Calcareous Soil
In order to increase the available Phosphorous (P), chemical fertilizers are applied; however, P chemical fertilizers are transformed into low available forms over time. Organic amendments could be effective in improving the efficiency of P fertilizers. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of P fertilizers and vermicopost on the availability and fractions of P and maize (Zea Mays...
متن کاملDynamics of ectomycorrhizal mycelial growth and P transfer to the host plant in response to low and high soil P availability.
The aim of this work was to investigate the quantitative relationships between the rates of fungal soil exploration and their effects on plant growth and phosphorus (P) nutrition in soil with varying P availability. Ectomycorrhizal associations were established between Pinus pinaster and the basidiomycete Hebeloma cylindrosporum. Plants were grown for 4 and 6 months in mini-rhizoboxes filled wi...
متن کاملEfficacy of Phytase Preparations to Improve P Availability in Young Turkeys
Phytate phosphorus of plant ingredients is not substantially available to poultry because of the lack of endogenous phytase enzymes in their gastrointestinal tract. There are substantial differences among broilers, turkeys, and ducks in terms of plant P utilization. We studied whether the availability of P is different for two Phytase enzymes in turkeys. Finase and a New Phytase product develop...
